Welcome to the forum Alfred and to SWKC altogether if indeed you are new. Hopefully you aren't that new in karting but if you are you couldn't have stumbled into a more useful and friendly place. The forum is new and a lot of people went away after the old one died of software death so any new discussions here are welcome to get things going. Hi, my name is Brian, i am from Hereford (someone has to be??) and i have just joined on sat 17th feb, my son Jed who is 10 has a Zip Blade and a w60 motor, he passed his arks test at Llandow last summer, we have now joined Llandow kart club and hope to do a few races there this year, i dont know if Nige on here is the very same one who passed my lad and owns the burger bar, or not??, if it is, i wonder if i can be kept posted if and when the cadet school fires up again as my lad needs to know where he can gain some more time at this track, and i think the likes of Nige could help?, cheers, Bri.

Hi Bri, one and the same! There is a race meeting next weekend and Jed can practice on the Saturday if you can make it (it sounds from your posting that you dont want to rcae just yet.) The race academy dates are on the home page of this website under the notice board link, the first one is the 11th March. See you soon?

Hi Nige, thanks for the info, it maybe a tall order to get there this weekend as i feel a bit rough at the mo, (fri) however, march 11 sounds good, as for racing, he will be doing some there this year, hopefully from april/may onwards all being well? as for race/academy dates etc, im never really sure what YEAR it was put on the net??, so i like the idea of keeping in touch this way, hope to speak soon Nige, brian.
