Thanks for your kind comments. It was a great weekend’s racing with a very high standard of driving by all the Junior Prokarters. We enjoyed your company and, like Michael, would be happy to take part in a LKC/IOMKRA meeting if it can be arranged.

Manxkarter, is the PEEL GP being run next year? Any news in that direction? Hopefully they make a decision by the end of the year so we know if we need Nat-A or B licenses next year. I want to enter and I know one or two others that would also. Dan

Does the Isle of Man run anything like a National Championship? if so an exchange visit for the Welsh Champs and the Manx Champs could be good - make a proper weekend of it with loads of racing - if ure gonna come over you may as well do it on a weekend where lots of laps are guaranteed

I think Peel GP was/is their "Championship" Henry. Had a look at the IOMKRA website and in their 2007 program there aren't any extra rounds other than the championship. Looking at Peel GP 2005 results I can see that they had Honda Senior and Heavies grids so most if not all the boys at Llandow would surely feel at home there. I'm hoping that they'll revive the GP and we can all group together for a ferry trip over the Irish sea? If they're as mad about Karting as they are about bikes over there it should be a fantastic event, not to mention probably the last remaining (if revived of course) kart street race in Europe!
