Ash, I thought the Prokart drivers are the best, smoothest, fastest out there.
Could there be that it was a myth after all?

Welcome back Ash
Gotta admit it was a bit mad at times and I was very surprised the clerk didn't step in at all considering action has been taken in the past over much smaller incidents.
Anyway I'm not going to moan, nutty driving gifted me the win :D

nutty driving gifted me a bill of £60 for a stub axle- plus a bent axle! first race back and i get mullered into the tyres for being mr nice guy again, story of my life!
don't think it's a coincidence that the drivers who have only ever raced prokart are the one's who are at the drop of a hat willing to close the door-in other faster classes a much bigger price would be payed by those closing the door so aggresively, the price of injury not only to the kart but to the drivers themselves.
I can't moan too much, I appreciate racing is an aggressive sport, and a lot of people manage to achieve a lot through aggressive driving, i just tend to favour racing with my head rather than idiotic rage, lol, never thought i'd hear me say that!
Just think we need to bear each other a bit of courtesy out on the track, closing the door whilst under braking is something which disadvantages the overtaker and the overtakee, leaving those behind-who aren't overly deserved to take the place. last meeting being a prime example, last corner 50yard lunge! lol balls, thats all im saying!
courtesy should also be granted when leaving a corner, if you've managed to lunge someone, and your up the inside on the way out of the corner and you've got the inside line into the next corner- which so often happens at raymonds and macwhirters, in my opinion you should grant the dirver on the outside the courtesy of space- squeezing the driver on the outside is not productive for either driver and often results in crashes, spins, and sometimes serious injury-which could have been the case on the weekend.
Think it may be a good idea for all of the prokart drivers to appreciate the level of respect they need to have for each other, because racing can turn from fun to dangerous in a split second, the last thing i would want is to cause someone injury, or be the victim of some bandit!
I'm not saying don't overtake, i'm not saying don't be aggressive- i'm saying don't make mindless moves which can only result in someone being seriously disadvantaged.
chow for now
