Visiting Llandow
Hi all, My family are visiting Landow this week to take part in the Motors Tv Challenge. My son Has just moved up to Junior Max and I was wondering if someone would be kind enough to give us a starting point for the gearing we might need to use in this class. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you very much in advance. Tony.

Try 12/78 as a starting point. It looks like the gearing on http://www.sykc.fsnet.co.uk/maxgearing.htm is from befor the kink on the main straight was taken out.

Gearing/Lap-records.
While we're on the subject, just a suggestion to Chris if he can update the lap records and gearing table on the website it would be useful to a lot of people, visitors or locals. I'm sure Margaret has that kind of information. Actually I'll make a point of asking her next weekend. Otherwise it is very encouraging to see that the website is being updated regularly now, keep up the good work Chris :lol: , hopefully the exams won't get in the way too much, and if they do don't forget all those offers of help! i am currently waiting on Margaret to email the lap records over to me, i have emailed her for them last week. As for the gearing, it would be helpful if people could email me a guide of what people use in their class as i dont race in every class and havnt a clue in some classes of what the gearing is.

Gearing/Records.
Chris, if you let me have a copy of the records when you get it from Margaret I promise I'll personally chase every person on the list and "extract" the gearing. How's that for cooperation? Together we can make Llandow an even better (and inviting) place! Then we can entice people to come and attempt to beat them! What class are you racing this year?
