Whats yr favorite kart class?
Hey guys, just doin this poll cause i wanna know which kart classes are the best and y, can u plz answer the poll, thanx Dibbymac 8) 8) 8)

Dibbymac, there's a slight floor in your poll! Minimax, Jnr. and Snr. Max are in essence the same class, separated by age of driver. On the other hand Cadet is a generic term for 3 separate classes: WTP, Comer and Honda. You'll need to streamline the poll along those lines if you want proper results, i.e. you either include all the classes or just the main ones (Comer, WTP, Honda, Prokart, TKM 2/4, Rotax, Biland, Gearbox). Otherwise you'll only get people voting for what they race in rather than what they think is a great class! Just like I did! Well done for the initiative to start the poll! Dan

Old K D- 10-30-2007

Prokart-Prokart-Prokart.

Dibbymac- 11-01-2007

ok, we now know that old k d is either a real newbie, or he just loves prokarts Dibbymac

Dibbymac- 11-01-2007

Formula blue? i havent heared of that, what engine? is it the fastest kart around?? it sounds like it!!

TonyB- 11-01-2007

LoL its quick but not the fastest, the engine is a 100cc two stoke with variable power dependent on the weight/age of the driver

Dibbymac- 11-01-2007

thanx, ill keep that in mind, thanx!!

Old K D- 11-01-2007

 Old but not new. Not wanting to start a row amongst classes! But if you really want to DRIVE then it has to be Prokart. Not the fastest I know but the driver is in control (most of the time). The Prokart maybe the tortoise but we all know what happened to the hare. :D

K1-Dan- 11-02-2007

You don't want to start an argument but just went and done it anyway? How can a Prokart driver be in more control than any other driver out there? For starters you spend 2/3 of the lap waiting for the engines to come on song/power, and once they do you find you have to start braking! Gently as well so that you don't lose that overweight back end! The only thing you're in control is watching the scenery and cutting the grass! The idea of racing is about being on the limit! About "just" being in control! Try a 2T and see how many times per lap you feel alive, that you have to fight the power and find the limits of it and the grip?! We fall asleep on the dummy grid in between you lot going around the track! The only sign that everything is OK when you guys are out is the fact that there aren't any Red Flags at MP6 and the ambulance man is still fast asleep at the wheel, otherwise one might be forgiven for thinking you've all stopped for a BBQ at Chandlers! How can you say you're more in control when you have at least 20Kgs more in weight, all at the back and less than 1/2 the power of most 2T's on the grid? In control of what: THE LONG BIG WAIT? The only reason Prokart is raced at Llandow in sprints is because they go on forever, it is cheap and people can't afford the costs of rebuilds and new tyres every race. I don't know many other clubs that have the Prokart on the Sprint. Actually I know a lot of clubs with no 4T classes on the grid at all; other than Honda Cadet maybe! For endurance races, yes, Sprint? What sprint? The hare only lost to the tortoise because the tortoise turned the sprint into an endurance race. The hare got bored and went chasing carrots! They were growing faster than a racing Prokart (ups, I meant tortoise)! ....................... Now there's an argument!!!

Michael- 11-02-2007

Did u know that a spin in a prokart cost 4 + seconds

TonyB- 11-02-2007

LOL

Dibbymac- 11-02-2007

LOL!!!

Dibbymac- 11-02-2007

This arguement is cos of me, aint it?? Ok, i will do another poll with different karts in it, maybe that will stop u from argueing, but 4 pro kart, like K1 Dan said, "The only thng yr in control of is watching the scenery and cutting the grass!!" When i read that, i almost fell off my computer chair!! It was so funny!! If u dont believe me, ask molliemacsicecream, she is my sister!! She ain't a karter yet, she helps me for now, but in a few years, maybe we'll see her on the track Dibbymac

chrise33- 11-02-2007

Come on now Dan i will start removing posts if your going to start slagging off classes just because you dont like them. Everyone is entitled to an opinion on which class they like to race and reccommend, that doensnt mean you need to go and slag it off!!
